Time to up my game. With old-faithful PC and software from well-known gaming company, I’ve been flight simming for years. Aiming high for improved realism, I had a nagging discomfort that the scene was sinking and fragmenting. But just at the right time, things fell into place; “the planets were aligned”, as they say. Living in Birmingham, I wanted to find an accessible company (within the zone Gloucester-Stoke-Leicester-Oxford). Along came Flight Sim 2017 Exhibition at RAF Cosford, and after stopping at other gaming PC suppliers, there I found the immediately impressive Midland Computers. (Based in Telford, this would be an easy drive). Ian Cox showed me their demo, and my experience told me I needed to look no further.
I have gladly bought Midland Computers high end PC M7FullATX. Under £2k, comparing prices, this is wise and good economics compared to well-advertised suppliers of high-end gaming PCs. As James Pilling (Showroom Manager) promised, this was immensely more than just getting a PC-in-a-box and a “thank you, goodbye, and have a nice day”. Within days, my new PC was built in Telford, professionally stress- tested, and software installed (much to my relief). Hassle free, and ready to pick up only days later! Attentive and considerate throughout, James gave us a thorough but user-friendly de-brief, with a sincere assurance of follow-along support if needed.
What have I gained from Midland Computers? Start-up PC to Vr only moments away. Processing power and stunning graphics realism when flying; P3D, A2A Piper Comanche, Wolverhampton to Gloucester in ORBX scenery. And all with attentiveness, excellence, efficiency and the valuable assurance of support. A regular reader of PC Pilot, I know I’ve done the right thing. (And I’ve treated myself to a great present). I am delighted (though even more addicted to flight simulation and real airplanes)!
I strongly urge you to check out Midland Computers website, make that call or initial visit. You will be as happy as I am.

Midland Computers came in clutch for us when we needed a computer the most! We had just arrived into the UK the day prior and had an event the next day. Unfortunately, our computer that was going to be used for the event was stuck in customs. Midland Computers got a call from us at 8:30 AM and had a computer and monitor ready for use by 9:15 AM. Needless to say, the computer was killer and had the equipment we required as well as the support we needed for the event. If we lived in the UK, Midland Computers would be our supplier of choice!
I just wanted to thank you sincerely for all of your kind help and invaluable assistance with reference to the purchase of our new PC.
I am pleased to report that I am truly impressed by the PC's performance and the fact that I am able to use all of the features and benefits of my new PC.

James is a rarity in our day to day experience: a breath of fresh air, with the smile to go with it. In short a person it is a pleasure to do business with, especially in connection with computers where, unlike most in this business, he has advised us in language to suit our knowledge of computing, which is not very much as we are old age pensioners aged 66 and 82.
Firstly he sold us our replacement laptop in early 2016, following which he advised us on requirements for a replacement Desktop machine subsequently made by Midland Computers. Both machines have been very satisfactory for our needs and where we have subsequently had problems, as old people sometimes do, James has been only too pleased to help.
From our experience with James and Midland Computers we have no difficulty in recommending your firm to relatives and friends, in the hope your business will prosper.

I would like to pass on a message of thanks to Midland Computers and in particular James Pilling your Showroom Manager. I am a 'Silver Surfer' and have experienced a few technical issues with my laptop and broadband. James has been extremely supportive and helpful throughout my dealings with Midland Computers to resolve the problems.
This year 2 Virtual Airlines, Geo Airlines and British Virgin UK, went to Cosford's RAF Museum Flight Sim Show to look for ideas on various things to help run our FSX and P3D machines and came across Midland Computers stand. After talking with them and making a fool of ourselves on their FSX computer we came away with a lot better knowledge of how to upgrade our computers. A great day was had by all of us and a big thankyou to Midland Computers for spending so much time with us.
